Please read these terms carefully before using Memory Capsule.

By downloading, installing, or using the Memory Capsule iOS application (the "App") or any associated website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including those who create an account, access the Service as a recipient of a shared capsule, or simply browse the website.
Memory Capsule allows you to create time-locked digital capsules containing photos, videos, and files. Capsules are sealed until a future date you choose, at which point you and any recipients you have invited are notified and the capsule becomes accessible. The Service is provided as-is and is subject to change at any time.
To create capsules you must register for an account using a valid email address, or via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to create capsules and add media. After the trial period, free accounts revert to view-only mode — you can still receive and view capsules shared by others, but you cannot create new ones.
To continue creating capsules, you may purchase a Premium subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system:
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. All billing is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
We do not issue refunds for unused portions of a subscription period. Refund requests should be directed to Apple through their standard refund process.
You retain ownership of all photos, videos, files, and other content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service — for example, to store your capsule until its unlock date and to deliver it to your invited recipients.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we will not use it for any purpose beyond operating the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
Capsule content is automatically deleted a set number of days after the capsule unlocks:
It is your responsibility to save any content you wish to keep before the auto-deletion date. We are not liable for any loss of content resulting from auto-deletion.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account), which will permanently remove your account and all associated content. We may also suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine you have violated these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including the loss of capsule content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
